I will stamp all over 'legitimate fighter' Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight-bout fight which will be streamed live on Netflix.

British boxer Anthony Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "defeat" his opponent as the two fighters confronted each other to publicize the upcoming bout.

Ex twice world boxing king Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a mammoth uneven pairing - at Miami's arena on 19 December.

Fighter's Attitude

"I will break his face and hurt his body. I'm here to prove my superiority," Joshua, 35, said.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.

"I intend to really want to hurt him. That's what I want to do."

Civil Exchange

Despite such comments, a relaxed Joshua and social media star Paul - typically recognized for his dramatics - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.

Jake Paul instead criticized former Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and called him "a joke" after Ngannou rejected a bout proposal.

Taking Aim at Fury

Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, targeted British opponent Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul victory.

"Jake Paul outshines Tyson Fury - he showed up," Joshua commented.

"I give him credit for that."

Legitimate Opponent

Despite stating he plans to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to talk badly about his rival's fighting skills.

"Jake is a credible opponent," he remarked.

Paul's Background

Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has primarily boxed mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.

He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.

Financial Attraction

Still, the relative newcomer is still one of the sport's biggest money-making draws, frequently receiving huge earnings.

Forecast and Belief

The 28-year-old anticipated a knockout win in rounds four or five and claimed he would derail the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly in the works for 2026.

"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul said.

Size Disparity

As the two fighters engaged in the customary stare-down, with their height and weight contrast clearly visible, it highlighted just how improbable this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the match is really proceeding.
